It Feels like Summer has Started

If you missed last month's update, find it here: Well, We sure did get a lot of Snow

As part of our new year's resolution "30-Day Challenges", This month we pulled "No Complaining" Along with our No Complaining challenge, we started "C25k!" (Couch to 5k)
Going forward, we will be trying to keep our complaining to a minimum. That whole "Don't sweat the small stuff" comes to mind. At the end of the day, our goal is to become more positive people.

The snow melted fast and it felt like summer before we knew it. The sunny days gives us a strong wanderlust and we started planning our summer. We attempted to build a platform in our SUV for a bed and giving us more storage in the vehicle, but the inside is so small, that a platform would be too high. We ended up just putting the seats back in the SUV. We would love to get ourselves a camper van! #goals #vanlife
We washed and repaired our curtains in Jimmy and got him ready for some road tripping

This month we updated our vegan guide is for Las Vegas! With our most recent trip to Las Vegas, we had the pleasure of eating at a few more amazing restaurants.  (Remember we share a new Vegan Guide the second Sunday of every month).

For our travel tips this month we shared 7 Lucky Las Vegas Budget Travel Tips. You want to save money where you can so you can splurge in other places and a visit to the fabulous "Lost Wages" is no different.

We ended up getting spring break off work, so we went on a little weekend trip with Mom to Campbell River. We stayed in an oceanfront hotel, hiked to Elk Falls suspension bridge, ate at the brand new vegan restaurant and walked along the waterfront. Keep your eyes on our IG story for blog updates on this trip.

For our spotlight series Easy Meal Ideas, we continue our series with breakfast! Here is our Breakfast Chia Seed Pudding. The food choices we make are influenced by trying to save money and also wanting to eat healthier. We don't always succeed but we try our best.

A new vegan restaurant opened up in Ladysmith here on the island and we made a point to check it out. It is right in the downtown core of Ladysmith and it's called "Plantitude"

We had the mushroom soup, vegan butter chicken and for dessert earl grey lemon cake! Everything was very tasty and we are happy they are just a short drive away from us!

Well, that was pretty much all were up to this month,
